Photo Booth Rental in Providence, RI
We travel to Providence, and the drive is priced before you commit
We come down from Boston for college formals, weddings and corporate events. There is a travel fee and we quote it with your first price, never after. $330 an hour, or $300 for student organizations, with an attendant, unlimited prints and our own generator included.
Most quotes come back the same day, with the travel cost written into the number.

Yes we come to Rhode Island, and no it is not a favour
Our studios are in Boston and Cambridge. Providence is a real drive, and plenty of vendors either say no or say yes and then quietly load the invoice. We do neither. We travel outside Greater Boston regularly, including out of state into Connecticut, and Providence is closer than a good number of those trips.
Practically that means two things. The travel cost is quoted with your first price, not added later. And a two hour booking rarely works out well once the drive is in the number, so most out-of-area events we quote run three or four hours. If two hours is genuinely all you need, ask anyway and we will tell you straight whether it is worth your money.
What does not change is what turns up. Same booth, same Canon DSLR, same trained attendant on site for the whole booking, same unlimited prints, same prop kit. We do not send a stripped-down setup because the drive is longer.
A small city with a lot of colleges in it
Providence packs an unusual number of colleges and art schools into a few square miles, and campus events are a large share of what we do everywhere we work. Formals, culture shows, galas, senior week, orientation and graduation events.
Campus work is the reason our billing is built the way it is. Student organizations and campus departments pay $300 an hour instead of $330. We take purchase orders, invoice the institution directly instead of asking someone for a card at checkout, and handle vendor registration and W-9 paperwork ahead of time. We never ask a student to personally sign a contract, because most schools do not allow it and it puts the student on the hook for a bill that is not theirs.
Events worth the drive
College formals and galas
Spring formal season books out early everywhere. If your organization runs an annual formal, reach out around six weeks ahead, further for a Saturday in March or April.
Weddings
Four hour minimum, which suits the travel anyway. Add a custom frame with your names and date for $100, or a backdrop for $65 if the wall behind the booth is not doing you favours.
Corporate and holiday parties
A logo frame turns the strip into the one piece of company swag people actually keep. December fills first every year, so reach out by October.
Outdoor and unusual spaces
Because we bring our own generator, we are not limited to rooms with convenient outlets. Courtyards, tents, warehouses and open lots are all workable as long as the booth stays under cover and on level ground.
What we need on the day
Power is not your problem
We carry our own generator, so the booth does not need an outlet. If there is one nearby we will use it, but no power at the spot you want is not a reason to put the booth somewhere worse. Tell us when you book so we bring it.
Space
Roughly 10 by 10 feet with about 8 feet of clearance. Tell us if the room is tighter than that and we will look at it before you book rather than on the night.
Load-in
We arrive about an hour early and pack out in 30 minutes, and neither counts against your booked hours. Tell us about stairs, a freight elevator or a loading dock when you book.
Venue and campus paperwork
Most venues want a certificate of insurance from vendors before setup day, and campuses often need vendor registration and a W-9 well in advance. Start that early. It is the thing most likely to hold up a booking, more so when we are coming from out of state.
Providence and the surrounding area
If your venue is outside this list, ask anyway. We travel for the right event and quote the cost up front.

Everything is included except branding
In every booking
Unlimited sessions, a trained on-site attendant for the whole booking, setup and teardown, a 30 to 50 piece prop kit, instant prints in photoslip holders, and our standard frame designs.
Every photo, not just the strip
Each session generates a QR code before your guests even leave the booth. They get the finished strip, an animated GIF, and every individual photo we shot for that strip as its own full resolution file. Most booths hand over the printed layout and nothing else. You get all of it.
The album
After the event we send you a private cloud album with every photo from the whole night in one place, full resolution. Yours to keep, post and pass around.
Paid add-ons
Custom frames with your names, date or logo start at $100. Backdrops are $65. A mini scrapbooking table with a guest book is $120. Branding is not included by default, so nobody gets a surprise invoice.
Providence questions
Do you actually come to Rhode Island?
Yes. We travel outside Greater Boston regularly, including out of state into Connecticut, and Providence is closer than a fair few of those trips. There is a travel fee and we quote it with your first price rather than adding it later.
How much is the travel fee?
It depends on the date, the timing and how long the booking runs, so we quote it with your first price instead of publishing a flat number we would only have to caveat. Ask when you enquire and you will have it before you commit to anything.
Is two hours enough, or do we need to book longer?
There is no separate hard minimum, but a two hour booking rarely works out well once the drive is in the number. Most out-of-area events we quote run three or four hours. If two is all you need, ask and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth it.
Do you need an outlet?
No. We carry our own generator, so the booth can go somewhere with no power at all. If there is a convenient outlet we will use it, but a lack of power is never a reason to move the booth somewhere worse.
Do you work with Providence colleges?
Yes. Student organizations and campus departments pay $300 an hour instead of $330. We take purchase orders, invoice the institution directly, handle vendor registration and W-9 paperwork, and never ask a student to personally sign the contract.
Is it the same booth you use in Boston?
Yes. Same equipment, same Canon DSLR, same lighting, same printer, same trained attendant on site for the full booking. We do not send a lesser setup because the drive is longer.
What digital files do guests actually get?
Every session generates a QR code before guests leave the booth. They get the finished strip, an animated GIF, and every individual photo we shot for that strip as its own full resolution file. Not only the frames that made the printed layout, all of them. After the event you also get a private cloud album with every photo from the whole night.
Tell us about your Providence event
We will come back with pricing and availability, usually the same day, with the travel cost written into the number rather than added later.
Just want the travel number first?
Ask for it directly with your date and rough timing and we will send it over before anything else:
