Nobody else here can let you stand in the booth first
Almost every photo booth company serving Cambridge asks you to book from photos on a website. You send a deposit, and the first time you see the booth is when it rolls into your venue. If the print quality is bad or the lighting is flat, you find out at your own event.
We have a storefront in Harvard Square. The booth we bring to your event is the same equipment, the same Canon DSLR, the same lighting and the same printer as the one sitting in our shop. Walk in any day we are open, use it, and take the strip with you. No appointment, no sales pitch. If you do not like it, do not book it.

What we actually need on the day
Cambridge is not an easy city to load into. Narrow streets, resident-only parking, and a lot of beautiful old buildings with staircases that were not built for equipment carts. We plan around it rather than being surprised by it.
Space and power
Roughly 10 by 10 feet with about 8 feet of clearance, plus one standard outlet within 25 feet. If your room is tighter than that, tell us and we will look at it before you book rather than on the night.
Load-in and parking
We arrive about an hour early and pack out in 30 minutes, and neither counts against your booked hours. Tell us about stairs, a freight elevator, or a loading dock when you book. If the venue needs a parking permit or a specific arrival window, we will work to it.
Older buildings
A lot of Cambridge event space is in converted historic buildings. If there is no elevator and the room is on the third floor, that is fine, we just need to know in advance so we bring the right hands.
Venue paperwork
Many venues want a certificate of insurance from vendors before setup day. Ask your coordinator what they need and send it over, and we will get it handled well before the event.
Harvard, MIT, and everything in between
A large share of what we do in Cambridge is campus work. Formals, culture shows, galas, orientation, graduation events and club nights. We have run events at the Harvard Kennedy School and we work with student organizations across the Boston and Cambridge area.
Campus events are the reason our billing is set up the way it is. Student organizations and campus departments pay $300 an hour instead of $330. We take purchase orders, invoice the institution directly, and remove Massachusetts sales tax if your school sends a tax exemption certificate. We never ask a student to personally sign a contract, because most schools do not allow it and it puts the student at risk.

In every booking
Unlimited sessions, a trained on-site attendant for the whole booking, setup and teardown, a 30 to 50 piece prop kit, instant prints in photoslip holders, and our standard frame designs.
Every photo, not just the strip
Each session generates a QR code before your guests even leave the booth. They get the finished strip, an animated GIF, and every individual photo we shot for that strip as its own full resolution file. Most booths hand over the printed layout and nothing else. You get all of it.
The album
After the event we send you a private cloud album with every photo from the whole night in one place, full resolution. Yours to keep, post and pass around.
The strip itself
Eight full-colour frames shot on a Canon DSLR with proper lighting, printed on the spot in a photoslip holder so it survives the rest of the night. Not a grainy four-frame strip off a tablet.
Paid add-ons
Custom frames with your names, date or logo start at $100. Backdrops are $65. A mini scrapbooking table with a guest book is $120. Branding is not included by default, so nobody gets a surprise invoice.

Can we see the booth before booking?
Yes, and we would rather you did. Walk into 34 John F. Kennedy Street in Harvard Square any day we are open, use the booth, and take a strip home. It is the same equipment we bring to your event. No appointment needed.
Is there a travel fee for Cambridge?
No. Cambridge is inside our core service area and there is no travel fee anywhere in the city. We also have a store in Boston at 230 Newbury Street and a third opening on Harvard Ave in Allston, so we are usually not coming far.
How much does it cost?
$330 an hour with a two hour minimum, so $660 for a two hour party. Weddings and corporate events have a four hour minimum because receptions run long. Student organizations and campus departments pay $300 an hour. Plus Massachusetts sales tax, unless your organization is tax exempt.
What digital files do guests actually get?

Not only the frames that made it into the printed layout, all of them. After the event you also get a private cloud album with every photo from the whole night.
Do you work with Harvard and MIT student groups?
Yes. We work with student organizations and campus departments regularly and we know how university purchasing works, including purchase orders, direct invoicing and tax-exempt billing. We never ask a student to personally sign the contract.
Our venue is an old building with stairs. Is that a problem?
Usually not, we just need to know in advance. Tell us about stairs, elevators and the load-in route when you book and we will bring the right number of hands and the right arrival window. It is the surprises that cause problems, not the stairs.
How far in advance should we book?
For weddings, three to six months. For December holiday parties, book by October. For campus events, two to four weeks is usually fine outside formal season, but spring formal season fills early. Custom frames need at least three days on top.
